Well, I celebrated the close of 2008 and the birth of 2009 in a very unorthodox manner (for me anyway)... I slept right through it. Yes, you heard it. There was no drinking, no tasty bad snacks, no party, no Wii, no Rock Band. I watched Law & Order with my parents and went to bed at 10pm.
Sad is the world.

I was gliding a sailplane on thermals and ridge drafts...pics incoming on undone life. I tried to watch some of the "ring in the new year shows", but found that tv is officially out of touch with my very real world. All it was was an opportunity to advertise to a captive audience. It really ticked me off to be wasting my time watching it. And Dick Clark has officially become the crypt keeper.
Well...glad to hear I didn't miss anything.
